To Know My Lord and My God

Sometimes it's easy for us to fool ourselves into thinking that we really know somebody - that we know who they are, what they like, what they dislike. As a result, it then becomes easy to kind of neglect that relationship, to not give it very much time or effort. So the relationship becomes stale and not very appealing, maybe even a bit boring. And that's how I felt my relationship with the Lord was becoming before my freshman year at UT, and before I started meeting with Christians on Campus.

Looking back, the thing that I have appreciated the most is that meeting with Christians on Campus has helped me to get to know “my Lord and my God” (John 20:28) in a very personal and intimate way. By getting into the Word, attending Bible studies and meetings, preaching the gospel, fellowshipping, and praying together with these dear believers, I've been continually drawn by the One whose love is much better than wine.(Song of Solomon 1:1-4) Now I can say with boldness that I love the Lord Jesus Christ, and every day spent with Him is a day full of joy and satisfaction (Philippians 4:4). He is truly the most wonderful Person in the entire universe!
